The President’s notice re Personal Injuries Actions at country venues during Level 5 of Covid19 allows for a remote callover of cases on the last day of the planned sittings, which will be the 13th November 2020 in the case of the Waterford PI sessions.
Consent orders can be made at this callover and infant and fatal cases ruled, as required. If the infant and fatal rulings cannot be dealt with remotely, (i.e. the Judge needs to see the Plaintiff) an application can be made to have them included on the Infant and Fatal Rulings list every Monday. Papers must be sent by email to the Registrar Kevin Bresnan at KevinBresnan@courts.ie in advance for any infant/fatal cases that practitioners want ruled at this callover.
