Notice Re Dublin Circuit Court Family Law Court

Practitioners please note, the Circuit Court Family Law Courts are dealing with Divorce and Judicial Separation motions on consent and will continue to do so until the end of the current term. From the 9th of March 2021 the Court will also begin scheduling Domestic Violence District Court Appeals, and notification letters will issue shortly.

The Court will continue to deal with urgent matters upon receipt of an Ex-Parte application and Affidavit outlining the urgency of the matter.

The making of Orders in chambers relating to Pension Adjustment Orders, release of reports and other consent applications will continue as heretofore.

MOTIONS AND HEARINGS

In addition, The Courts will facilitate the making of any Orders that have been agreed between parties for motions/hearings that have now settled, but have fallen out of the scheduled lists due to the current restrictions.

Please notify the office via an Ex-Parte application, with a brief factual Affidavit exhibiting the original consent terms and a letter of consent from the other side. Please apply via post or drop-box and you will be facilitated with a date at the earliest opportunity.  Please indicate if you have a preference for a remote or physical hearing.

Only 1 party need attend if the above terms are adhered to.
