Re: CORK PERSONAL & FATAL INJURIES CALLOVER LIST ON 5TH MARCH 2021 AT 11.00 AM

The callover for the Cork Personal & Fatal Injuries List for the sessions commencing on the 15th to the 26th March 2021 will take place remotely on Friday 5th March 2021, before Ms Justice O’Hanlon.

Due to the current Covid Level 5 restrictions only urgent or pressing cases will proceed as a physical hearing during the sessions. These will be subject to strict adherence with current Covid-19 public health guidance and High Court practice directions. Ms Justice O’Hanlon will be sitting in the Washington St Courthouse to hear these cases, the application to have the case heard physically should be made to Ms Justice O’Hanlon on notice to the opposing parties at the Callover (Remote) on 5 March 2021. No case which will exceed 3 days duration will be listed.

Any other case called on may proceed remotely if either party wishes it to do so and any objections have to be on reasonable grounds. All other cases called on for hearing will be allocated a date during the sessions and will be called over at 10.30 am and again at 2.15 pm and pursuant to the High Court Practice Direction dated 24th February 2021.

If you require us to attend and make an application on your behalf you should forward your instructions to our Roisin Bradley at rbradley@pearts.ie to reach us no later than 3pm on Wednesday 3rd March, this is to ensure that all applications are properly prepared and recorded by us in advance of the callover. Late instructions after this time must be followed up with a phone call to Roisin to ensure that she will be in a position to deal with same. No instructions can be taken on the morning of the callover.
