Re:  High Court Common Law Lists from Monday 9th November 2020 onwards

The High Court Common Law Lists from Monday 9th November 2020 onwards will be held as follows:
• Motions for the Sitting will be heard by way of physical hearing
• All other motions will be heard by way of remote hearing

A paginated and indexed booklet of motion papers in respect of motions to be heard by way of remote hearing is required to be lodged no later than close of business on the Thursday preceding the date for hearing, no late lodgement of the booklet of motion papers will be accepted. Please ensure that you send us your booklet of motion papers well in advance as an appointment for the filing of same must be obtained in the Central Office.

No booklet of motion papers is required to be delivered in advance of the hearing of Motions for the Sitting which will be heard by way of physical hearing. The booklet of motion papers for the Motions for the Sitting should be brought to Court on the day of the hearing for handing up to the relevant Judge.

The Virtual Courtroom Number and relevant instructions for practitioners in respect of motions to be heard by way of remote hearing will be made available each week to members through the Law Society of Ireland and the Bar of Ireland websites. Practitioners should check the High Court legal diary (http://legaldiary.courts.ie/high-court) – Common Law List section each week for details on the relevant list.

You might please contact our Helen Hanlon at hhanlon@pearts.ie if you have any queries, have booklets to be filed or require our attendance remotely or physically.

Please note that the offices of Pearts Solicitors remain open during level 5 restrictions and we continue to provide our full level of services including the attendance at court offices, filing of documents, physical and remote court attendances.
